While at UCLA, he was the United Cambodian Students Vice President from 1994-1995 and the President from 1995-1996. He is currently an optometrist for Kaiser Permanente in Diamond Bar, CA. Nimoal Sun
Class of 2000, Biology
While at UCLA, he was the United Cambodian Students Vice President from 1996-1997, President from 1998-1999 and the UCLA Asian Pacific Coalition Financial Supports Coordinator from 1997-1998 and the Assistant Director of Internal Affairs from 1998-1999. He is currently an Applications Lab Manager at Applied Materials in Sunnyvale, California where they make the new microchips and displays of the future possible. In addition to developing new technologies that may change the world, he enjoys hiking, traveling the world, learning new languages, and helping the local community by volunteering, sharing knowledge, and fundraising. He is currently holding Member Board of Directors positions for two non-profit community organizations: the Asian Law Alliance (ALA) and the Cambodian American Resource Agency (CARA). He is married to Vathany Tan and he can be reached at [email protected].

Rinda Seng
Class of 2003, Sociology & Minor in East Asian Languages
She was an active member of UKS (formerly UCS) during her time at UCLA. Rinda is currently a software consultant for Edgewater Ranzal, focusing on the design and implementation of Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management suite of products. Aside from IT, Rinda has a background in finance which includes budgeting and forecasting for Fortune 500 companies in the manufacturing, real estate, and retail industries. She currently resides in Irvine, CA with her family and loves to travel. Rinda is also a mentor for Khmer Alumni Association. She can be reached at [email protected].

Chantha Seng
Class of 2004, Psychology & Education Pepperdine University Class of 2006, Master's in Education While at UCLA, she was the External Vice President for UKS. She enjoys change and learning and because of this, she has worked in various industries such as education, retail management, and financial services throughout her professional career. She is currently a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual and a part-time educator.
